South Africa issued a set of two Motion Stamps which features Flight of Fish Eagle. African Fish Eagle was declared as Bird of the year of South Africa in 2012.

African Fish Eagle is one of the widespread birds of Africa. In order to create awareness about this species, their habitat and conservation, South Africa Post has made this attempt.

The Flight of African Fish Eagle stamp sheet was the first attempt to apply lenticular technology on stamps, which gives an impression of the movement of an image.
